Kyle Patterson

Kyle Patterson was born and raised in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. After high school, Kyle worked in the Athabasca basin, conducting line-cutting and field programs. This inspired him to study natural sciences at the University of Saskatchewan where he completed a BSc in Geophysics.

After completing university, he secured a job with Cameco Corporation — Canada's leading industrial employer of First Nations — where he worked as an exploration geophysicist for nine years. During his time at Cameco, he was actively involved in supportive communities — including volunteer work at Saskatchewan Mining Association’s MAP event, hosted in La Loche, Saskatchewan. Kyle currently holds a Project Geophysicist role at Ideon Technologies Inc, an innovative startup focused on reducing environmental impact during subsurface exploration. His focus with Five Feathers Group is duty to consult and to advocate early engagement with Indigenous groups prior to project development.
